The children of SAMPURNA
(since 2015)
The first child helped at Asmita by our organisation is now an adult. He initiated the creation of children's home named "Sampurna Chidren's Home".
It is a boarding facility that receives orphaned children or victims of precarious family situations. They are surrounded by a motivated team whose main mission is to materially, humanly and emotionally support those children who are so bruised at the dawn of their lives.

The house now has ten children living in it. They attend regular school and know a secure and emotional living environment. It is located in Pharping (1h30 from the capital, south in the mountains). By responding to the emergency in 2015, after the earthquake, the operation up and running. The project is now moving towards an education open to the natural environment and local cultural heritage. In the future our organisation aims to create a living space adapted to these educational objectives. This will allow us to accommodate an additional twenty children.

"In 2004, I wanted to sponsor Haciss's brother to give him the chance to have a good education."
10 years later, he helped the poor children of his country and created the children's home of Sampurna, a beautiful adventure. " Guy

The creation of the children's home : First house for rent
When it was created in November 2015, Sampurna Children's home needed immediate accommodation. The renting of a house was imposed in urgency.
The building was found in the center of Pharping: a contemporary concrete construction that had withstood earthquakes. The necessary comfort was provided.
But the rooms being located on five levels, and the plot having no yard or garden, daily life was not easy. Obtaining the approval of the Nepalese government was not possible.

Second house for rent
The search for a second home was therefore undertaken. It had to meet the administrative requirements, enough comfort for the children and the supervising team and respected the educational objectives. It is a house under construction that was retained. Located on the edge of the village it spreads out onto two levels and has a garden of 900 m² available for a vegetable garden and a playground. The plans and photos on the right will help you to understand its organization and its environment.

Towards a new children's home
The current house correctly meets the needs of the children's home, however it remains limited to welcoming 10 children max.
In addition, the accommodation for the supervisory team is not satisfactory and the dining room is installed in the commercial premises not adapted to this function. Finally, it is also missing a room to stock necessities.
We want to increase the accommodation capacity and meet the demand whilst having a building that is truly adapted to the functions of a children's home.
We found that the construction of a dedicated structure was the most satisfactory solution.
To date, all the children have found a godfather or godmother. Our efforts will now focus on building the children's home. We therefore encourage group sponsorships, solicit donations and seek corporate patronage.
To participate in this common mission, click on the buttons "sponsorships" and "donations" or contact us in the "contact" menu.
Whatever your gesture, we thank you in advance. It will be a first step in helping us build the new children's home.
